Good news. Thanks to our new partners Payoneer, you’re now able to receive payments into your ANNA account in US Dollars and Euros. Hooray!

To get started, you’ll need to open a Payoneer account and link it to your ANNA account. To do that, you have to answer some basic questions about your business.

We’re trying to bring your ANNA account and Payoneer closer together so you don’t get asked the same Know Your Business questions twice, as we know that can be annoying. Until then, there are a few questions you have to answer - they’re a legal requirement.

Here’s what to expect:

As a sole trader

You’ll need to show some official government-issued photo ID. It can be any of the following:

  • Drivers license
  • Passport
  • ID card

You’ll also need to provide the following basic information:

  • Business category – you can select this from a list
  • A link to your business website – if you don’t have one you can use your social media or LinkedIn page
  • Information about how your business operates, who your customers are and how they pay for your products or services
  • The regions where you operate
  • The average monthly volume of transactions in the chosen currency
  • The number of transactions per month

Don’t worry – if any of the questions aren’t relevant to your business, you can just answer ‘n/a’.

You don’t need to provide this information to open an account, but it’s a good idea to do it as soon as possible. Without it you won’t be able to withdraw money from your Payoneer account.

As a LTD Company

As the primary owner of the business (Payoneer call this ‘Ultimate Beneficial Owner’ or UBO), you’ll need to provide official government-issued photo ID. This can be a:

  • Drivers license
  • Passport
  • ID card

You’ll also need to provide the following basic information:

  • ID number, from the ID you provided
  • Date of birth

If you have any other partners or directors in the organization, then they will need to provide the same information, include this in 2nd-4th UBO sections

You may be asked for an ‘Authorized representative verification letter’. If you’re the director of your company you won’t need to do this, but you will need to provide the following basic information:

  • Business category - you can select this from a list
  • A link to your business website - if you don’t have one you can use your business Linkedin page
  • Information about how your business operates, who your customers are and how they pay for your products or services
  • The regions in which you operate
  • The average monthly volume of transactions in the chosen currency
  • The number of transactions per month
